Getting started

Start a selection with Control–Shift–Space, or choose New Lasso from the menu bar icon.
If capture doesn't work, open Lasso Settings → Privacy and, under Permissions, open the Screen Recording settings. macOS may ask you to quit and reopen Lasso.
Lasso lives in the menu bar, not in the Dock or Command–Tab.
Access to Calendar, Contacts and Reminders is requested only when you confirm an action that creates something.
To reuse a capture, click the menu bar icon or choose History… from its menu. Limits and iCloud sync are in Settings → History.
Change the language or turn off any kind of action in Settings → General and Settings → Actions.
Turn off anonymous usage metrics in Settings → Privacy.

Use the same Apple Account with iCloud Keychain turned on on every Mac.
If you see “Waiting for the encryption key from iCloud Keychain”, give it a few minutes: the key arrives on its own.
Full images from other Macs download when you use the capture, so you need to be online.
